Sift of the mass of a charge in the field of (1+n)-- dimensional black hole: dimensional regularization

The expression for the self-energy and the shift of mass of a classical charge in the space-time of~$(1+n)$~-- dimensional Schwarzschild black hole is obtained with the use of the dimensional regularization method. It is shown that dimensional regularization leads to the results which are in agreement with the results obtained with the use of other methods of regularization.
